Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and application operated under the name Just Learn Anything (the "Service"). The Service is run by an individual solo developer—not a company or registered business unless stated elsewhere ("we," "us," or "our" refer to that person). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Just Learn Anything generates interactive, educational-style lessons and related content based on topics and prompts you provide. The Service may include images retrieved via third-party stock photo APIs and authentication and data storage provided by our infrastructure partners. The Service is intended for general learning and exploration only.

2. Not professional advice

Content generated through the Service (including lessons, quizzes, and follow-up answers) is produced using artificial intelligence and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Nothing on the Service is professional, medical, legal, financial, or other regulated advice. You are solely responsible for how you use or rely on any output.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You may create an account using email and password or through Google sign-in. Your use of Google authentication is also subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at contact@justlearnanything.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures.
  • Use automated means (including bots or scrapers) to access the Service in a way that overloads our systems, harvests bulk generated content, or interferes with other users.
  • Submit content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or is intended to harass, harm, or deceive others.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract underlying models or non-public APIs except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by law.

5. AI-generated content

Outputs generated for you may be similar to content generated for other users. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. You should verify important facts independently. We may use third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to process your prompts; their terms may also apply to their services.

6. Your content and license to us

You retain any rights you have in text and data you submit ("Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service (for example, to generate lessons and save lessons you choose to store).

Subject to these Terms, you may use lesson outputs for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not resell, sublicense, or systematically redistribute bulk generated output from the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, and underlying software, is owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited rights expressly granted here, these Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including without limitation: Supabase (authentication and database), Anthropic (AI processing), third-party services used to retrieve stock images for lessons (the provider may change), and Google (OAuth sign-in). Your use of those services may be subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR OF THE SERVICE (THE INDIVIDUAL RUNNING JUST LEARN ANYTHING) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FOR THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for conduct we believe violates these Terms or harms other users or us. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

13. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms on the Service or through other reasonable means. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence where applicable.

15. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact us at contact@justlearnanything.ai. For how we process personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
